Fees
How fees work
We bill your child's plan first. Here is how paying works, in the order most parents ask.
Insurance we work with
Children's visits are billed to your child's plan. We are enrolled with Louisiana Medicaid and LaCHIP for children. For a plan through a job, whether we are in network depends on the plan, and we tell you before you book.

Plans through a job: call with the plan name
Medicare and DHMO plans: ask us first
If you pay yourself
Without coverage you pay the fee for your visit, and we tell you what it will be before any treatment starts. Financing is offered by third-party lenders. Approval and terms are set by the lender.
Pay at the visit
Each step has its own fee
Receipts for reimbursement
If you pay us and a plan reimburses you, we give you an itemized receipt to send to it. What the plan pays back is the plan's decision.
Itemized, every visit
An estimate in advance
We give a written estimate in advance to anyone paying without insurance, and to anyone who asks. It lists the treatment, how many visits it takes and what it costs.
Ask when you book or at the visit
In writing, before treatment starts
Checking your benefits
Before the first visit our front desk checks what your child's plan says it covers and tells you, including any limit on visits or treatment in a year. A plan's answer is an estimate, and the plan decides.

What the first visit includes
Plan on about 45 minutes: a hello, a cleaning, an exam by Dr. Harrell, X-rays only if she decides your child needs them, and time for your questions. Bring your child's plan card and a photo ID.
